This design is inspired by the print of the iconic Hawaiian shirt of flowers and leaves to show motifs from the costumes of Peliqueiro and Cigarrón, respective characters of the Entroidos de Laza and Verín, in Orense.
O Entroido (the Galician carnival) is a distinctive celebration with a long tradition, full of vitality, and is an example of originality, beauty and spectacularity.
The design of the Entroido shirt has the cultural mission of explaining in its print the parts that make up the Peliqueiro and Cigarrón costumes, and the motifs linked to them.
For this design, Galoha's creative artistic team was inspired by the floral style of the Aloha shirt from Hawaii as it offers a variety of lines and shapes that help reflect the elaborateness of the suits. The color blue was chosen because it is a color that predominates in the sash, bows and screen of peliqueiros and cigarrones. The selected blue coincides with the Pantone Hawaiian Surf color, a blue, alluding to Hawaii, one of the inspirations for the print.
The Entroido shirt is Galoha's first time away from the coast and reflects the history and motifs of an inland theme. This design is a tribute to the full return of the Entroido after the pandemic.
Galoha shirts are designed and manufactured in Spain, with 100% organic cotton fabric and wooden buttons. This design is available in Blue, for Man and Woman .
